The 36th annual Tour de Gap bicycle race benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Abilene will be a two day event and offer and extended route and time trial. The bike rally will still take place in scenic Buffalo Gap, on July 28th and 29th, 2018.

The Tour de Gap's races will be on Saturday, July 28th. The extend route will consist of a 100k (62 mile) race that will run along with the standard 11 and 27 mile races. However a 7.2 mile 'Time Trial' will take place Sunday, July 29th.

Both the 'Tour de Gap' and 'Bike for Kids Sake' rally have combined to make one huge happy family friendly event. All riders under the age of 15 can ride free, so long as they're accompanied by a paying adult.

The Tour de Gap has 3 routes to choose from, an 11 mile, 27 mile and 62 mile course. The cost to participate in the fundraiser is $35 advance for Saturday's event, $25 advance for Sunday's time trial and $50 advance for the two day event.

The race starts and ends at the Old Settlers Reunion Grounds/Flea Market Park at 501 West St, in Buffalo Gap. Registration is at 6:30 AM - 7:45 AM both days. the races closes at 1 PM.
