What’s Your Favorite Soft Drink? [POLL]

Everybody has a favorite drink just like they have a favorite car, food, tissue or fabric softener.  I personally like Coke, I’ll drink Pepsi if I have to and I’ll drink Dr. Pepper for a little change.  However, Coke is my favorite and I drink it for breakfast.

Are "Preppers" Crazy or Smart? [POLL]

I’ve watched a couple of the episodes of the National Geographic TV show “Doomsday Preppers” and I have to say I’m a little intrigued and frightened at the same time. I’m from the school of thinking that if something happens to wipe out the world then I don’t really think I would want to survive myself. However, I try to watch the show with an open mind but some of what the “preppers” do is a little crazy and dramatic in my mind.

Small Steps to Fighting Cancer [VIDEO]

As a cancer patient I am now paying more attention to information about ways to fight or prevent the disease. If and when I run across something I might want to try I ask my oncologist what his thoughts are on the subject. Needless to say, after watching this video, I will have some questions for him next week at my appointment.
