I don't know if you could call this a celebrity death hoax or a gut check from the grammar police. As a self-professed grammar snob, it's been rather amusing to see the internet react to the news that Betty White dyes.

Earlier this week, the satirical news site Empire News posted an article titled "Actress Betty White, 92, Dyes Peacefully in Her Los Angeles Home". It goes on to explain that the beloved actress is not a natural blonde, therefore she dyes her hair. Peacefully. In her Los Angeles Home.
