Summertime is for spending time with friends and family and going on great adventures. Coming up July 18th you can do all of that during the Fort Griffin Family Night in Albany. Enjoy star gazing, campfire stories, guided tours and more.

The day will begin at 10 am with guided tours of the historic military fort. The afternoon will be filled with a longhorn program starting at 2pm. This is an up close view of the Official State of Texas Longhorn Herd with facts provided by the guide. Later that evening you can listen to campfire stories about frontier adventures. The evening will conclude with a stargazing party beginning around 9:30. Astronomers will be on hand with astronomy equipment so you see the starts up close!

Be sure to grab the kiddos, grandparents, friends or just enjoy a night out with your love during Fort Griffin's monthly Family Night, July 18th.
