Summer's here and the insects that like to feast on us, are out looking for a free meal. We've got to keep a watchful eye, being that disease carrying ticks are everywhere. If a tick latches on to you, there are several ways to remove it.

One of the easiest and less caustic ways to remove a tick is by using a wet cotton swab. If you're not aware of how to do it, the above video shows you how.

The one thing you want to avoid though, is transferring the pathogens from the tick to you. If you get to them off quick enough, that can be avoided. Tweezers seem to work but are a bit painful.
