High School Football is a way of life in Texas, especially here in the Abilene area. In a documentary that just aired on Fox Sports Southwest, the Abilene High Eagles were the focal point, from the Team of the Century (1950s) to the team that rose to dominance under current head coach, Steve Warren.

If you missed "Legends of Texas High School Football: The Abilene Eagles Story", then you missed a really entertaining (and sometimes emotional) one-hour documentary that highlighted the greatness of the Warbirds.

However, you can see it again on the KTXS family of TV channels or online.

The first re-broadcast is Sunday, July 28th from 1-2 PM on KTXS Television.

A second airing can be seen on This TV the next day, Monday July 29th from 7-8 PM.

"The Abilene Eagles Story" will run a third and final time on CW Abilene the following weekend, August 4th from 10-11 AM. - via KTXS
