Abilene Public Library to Hold the West Texas Book Festival Sept. 19-24

Bookworms will feel right at home when the Abilene Public Library hosts the West Texas Book Festival September 19-24.

The 6-day festival will feature seminars, workshops, speeches, book signings and luncheon events taking place at the Abilene Public Library downtown, the Civic Center and other locations throughout town. It will also feature authors speaking at area schools.

• Most events at the festival are free of charge
• Cookbook Gala is $225 for individual tickets
• Culinary Cuisine Luncheon is $30 for individual tickets
• Boots & Books Luncheon is $25 for individual tickets

• Attract and recognize authors, publishers and readers from around Texas
