As NBC prepares to bring us Season 4 of the hit TV talent show, 'The Voice', Blake Shelton is getting his ducks in a row, too. He's picked a mentor to help him work with his team on the new season, and no, it's not Ray Price or any other 'old fart' or 'jackass'.

ET Online reports that Sheryl Crow will join Shelton on the fourth installment of 'The Voice', which returns for a new season in March. Crow states,

“I’ve been friends with Blake for a few years now and am honored he invited me to be an adviser on 'The Voice' this season.”

Not only is she a Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter, but Crow comes brings some TV talent contest experience to Shelton's corner. She was a mentor on 'American Idol' two years ago.

Blake says of Sheryl:

“Sheryl Crow is one of the coolest people in the music industry and to have her as an adviser on my team is pretty darn cool.”

Shelton has picked only female mentors to assist him with his team on 'The Voice,' including Kelly Clarkson, Reba McEntire, his wife Miranda Lambert, and now Sheryl Crow.

If you thought Blake was keeping busy in 2012, this year looks to have his calendar just as full with 'The Voice' starting in March, followed by his 'Ten Times Crazier Tour' this summer.
