Zakkary was born prematurely, to my good friends Lyndsi and Jason Middleton, on November 25th, 2020. This little angel fiercely fought for 15 hours before he succumbed to a brain bleed. During those 15 short hours, the NICU staff at Hendrick Medical Center made sure Jason and Lyndsi had as much time as possible with the little man before he earned his wings.

Thanks to the love and care of those in NICU, at Hendrick Medical Center, Lyndsi and Jason were inspired to do something in little Zakkary's memory while helping out the NICU. So, they've organized a memorial motorcycle ride to help raise funds, and necessities, for the NICU at Hendrick.

I can't imagine the heartbreak over losing a child, but I don't need to imagine how huge Lyndsi and Jason's hearts are. They've always been incredible people and organizing an event like this, during such a tough time, just shows how amazing they are as well as the staff at Hendrick.

So, let's get those bikes shined up and ready for a ride in memory of little Zakkary. You don't have to know the Middleton's to know this is an important event for them, so let's show them we're behind them 100%.

The ride is Saturday, March 20th and will start, from the Home Instead parking lot, at 11am. The ride, itself, will take just over an hour with raffles and more taking place at The Saloon in Buffalo Gap.

Along with the ride, the Middleton's have set up a GoFundMe page for those that would like to donate.

While this is a motorcycle ride, other vehicles are encouraged to participate as well. You can find more details, and a ride map, below.
