Imagine Dragons began their career in 2008 but it wasn't until 2012 that they gained notoriety. The 4 man band from Las Vegas, Nevada was named 'Breakthrough Band of 2013' by Billboard.Their debut album Night Visions has been certified Platinum with help from their hit single ' Radioactive'. Sometimes someone else's downfall can be your windfall. That's what happened when Imagine Dragons played the Bite of Las Vegas Festival 2009. The group Train was set to perform before the lead singer fell ill. Imagine Dragons stepped up to fill the open slot and performed in front of over 25,000 people. What followed sent them on a super ride; with accolades coming from magazines and people wanting to hear more they signed a recording contract with Interscope Records.

They released to EP's before finally releasing their Night Visions album. The album went on to top not only charts here in the U.S. but internationally as well. Since that time they have toured all over the U.S. and Europe and have been nominated for Billboard, MTV, American Music Awards and even Grammy's.

The band is working towards a second album. They already have demos to work from but don't want to put anything out unless the timing and music is right. As of right now, it's a work in progress. However, they did release a song, in early summer, called 'Battle Cry' to accompany the movie Transformers: Age of Extinction.

We await the next project from Imagine Dragons and I'm sure it will offer just as much, if not more, great music as their first album did.
