Gone With the Wind is a large-scale epic historical romance with a run-time of nearly four hours. While it's not rated, multiple themes and character depictions may be offensive and problematic for modern audiences. Tickets are $7 for general admission and $6 for students, seniors over 60, military personnel, and children. You can purchase your tickets here.

Gone With the Wind has gone down in history as one of the longest, most opulent, and most historically problematic films in American movie history. You can watch the trailer here:

The 1939 film is based on the novel of the same name by Margaret Mitchell, which focuses on the struggles and triumphs of wealthy, spoilt Southern belle Scarlett O'Hara as she navigates life during and after the American Civil War in the 1860s and 1870s. It portrays Scarlett's life of luxury on an expansive cotton plantation in the Antebellum South, the beginning and end of multiple romances and marriages, and the tragedy and triumph of her survival through the Civil War and Reconstruction eras.

The film cemented Vivien Leigh and Clark Gable as pop culture icons, and quotes (or misquotes) from the dialogue are now just as famous as the film itself. Gone With the Wind received ten Academy Awards, including Best Supporting Actress for Hattie McDaniel, who was the first African-American to ever win an Oscar.

It is the highest-grossing film in history, and it's inspired parodies and commentary for decades since its release.

Gone With the Wind's portrayal of slavery, Civil War history, and African-American characters on film are indicative of the era of the film's release and will likely offend modern audiences.
