I reached several barbecue restaurants and other places around Abilene to see who is cooking smoking meats. Because of the pandemic, we kept it small and in-house last year. It's time now to invite the whole family and celebrate West Texas-style, with mesquite-smoked meats.

Just a few things to keep in mind this year. For example, the price of meat has gone sky high as well as all other food costs. So, to help offset some food costs there are a couple of barbecue restaurants that are willing to smoke the turkey and or ham that you provide them for a small fee.

What Exactly Are The Restaurants Offering For Thanksgiving

The next thing you need to decide is what to add to the feast. For example, cornbread dressing, gravy, green beans, sweet potato casserole, and whatever your heart desires. These restaurants will be there to fill in where you need it.

Here's a list of awesome barbecue restaurants and other places to order your Thanksgiving meal. The most important thing is, remember to order your meal long before Thanksgiving in fact some restaurants are cutting off taking orders as early as Monday, November 15th.
