Sony is reportedly courting ‘The Social Network’ screenwriter Aaron Sorkin to bring Steve Jobs’ life to the big screen. Will he accept the friend request?

The proposed biopic would be based on Walter Isaacson’s biography of Jobs, comprised of several interviews the author had with the tech giant, as well as friends, family and colleagues. The studio bought the rights to the biography only two days after Jobs’ death. (The book was released this week.)

Will the fact that Sorkin was actually friends with Jobs mean that the movie will be a puff piece? Or could he opt for the warts-and-all approach he took to adapting the Facebook story? Either way, it’s safe to say there will be a lot of scenes of people walking down hallways and talking fast.
